Trailer Park – Black Panther

Looks wildly impressive. Though probably the most impressive feat of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is not the epic, 24 film slate(when all is said & done that is.  Imagine THAT box set)  but the fact that people actually now care about formerly C & D level heroes. C’mon, nobody was angling for a Black Panther book 5 years ago. Or Ant-Man. Or the Guardians of the Galaxy. Or Captain Marvel. Shit, even Iron Man was languishing a bit before RDJ spruced him up.  So, your gambit worked; kudos Marvel. Now get your comic’s shit together please and thank you.

Batman: The Animated Series + The Dark Knight Rises Trailer = Nostalgia, Magic

A few years ago, I got into an incredibly serious argument with a friend about whether or not the opening to the original Batman: The Animated Series was hand drawn or computer animated.  I said hand drawn (ed. note: Because it is! Use your eyes!) he said computer, words were exchanged, beers were drank, more words were exchanged, phones were consulted, onward and onward until the eventual destruction of his apartment.  Damage aside, no consensus was ever reached.  Readers, help me win this years old argument by watching the series opening below and then voting (even though I know I’m right).

Trailer Park: Wreck-it-Ralph

To be honest, I had completely ignored absolutely everything about this movie and ended up watching the trailer because I was bored at work.  Stupid me, because this actually looks awesome.  Two second synopsis: Video game villain gets tired of his racket, quits to wander through other games.  The Villains Anonymous scene alone looks tremendous.  Zangief! Bowser! A zombie! Ghost from Pac Man whose name I forget! Dr. Robotnik! Good on Disney for not making yet another terrible movie.
