Star Wars as Spaghetti Westerns

Artist Tim Anderson re-imagines the intial (read: good) Star Wars trilogy as a collection of spaghetti westerns and he’s got the posters to prove it.
Check out more of Tim’s killer artwork after the jump, including another re-imagining of Star Wars, a sweet Avengers poster and individual character sheets for The Good, The Bad and the Ugly.

Super Sweet DC Posters – THESE You Can Buy

Check ’em out — these totally sweet DC posters are available right now in the DC Collectibles store and aren’t too shabby, either price- or quality-wise. Take your pick of either 12 X 18 for $20 or 24 X 36 for $35. Either way, you can now make your house look like a responsible adult with disposable income lives there. Anyway you slice it, it’s just C-L-A-S-S-Y. Trust me, class knows class, and I’ve got class.

The Coolest Poster You Can’t Buy: Mondo’s “The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King”

I’m damn sure going to try though! Created by artist Aaron Horkey for the magnificent poster creation arm of the Alamo Draft House. Apparently posters for the The Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers are forthcoming, featuring a number of different artists for each film.  (ed.note: The Return of the King poster is already sold out, as it was only available at a screening held on 07.05.12.  DAMMIT.) Things You Want: Video Games as Movie Posters

The Fallout and Skyrim are, in my opinion, the best of the lot. That being said, they’re all incredible and game studios should start cranking these out. These are so much more interesting and evocative over the general bullshot pastiches they throw together. Now I’m curious, who has the best game art?  Take a poll after the jump! take the poll
