Stephen King spawn Joe Hill has been cranking out an excellent, imaginative graphic novel titled Locke & Key since 2008; Fox declining to pick up a television adaptation in 2011, after a series commitment, remains a mystery more than a year later. Now we’ve got rumors about a film trilogy from the same team who wrote the pilot, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman (Star Trek, Transformers, Mission: Impossible 3). Orci confirmed the rumor on Twitter and Hill lent some cred as well. We’ll see.
That would be incredible and something fans can console themselves with now that the The Dark Tower master plan has pretty much gone ka-put.
